Our Mission
1K for KC was created to support families in Kansas City who have been financially impacted by life’s challenges and unexpected hurdles. For many, the loss of income or unexpected life changes has forced them to make tough decisions between paying for the necessities many of us take for granted. From December 2022 to February 2023, we want to provide relief by giving selected families up to $1K per month to help with housing expenses. All payments will be made directly to rental and mortgage companies. Join us in spreading hope throughout KC this holiday season!
