$1K FOR 3 MONTHS
The pandemic has impacted us all, forcing a significant number of small businesses to close, creating lay-offs and employees left without a consistent source of income. The 1K For KC project will support these families from December 2022 to February 2023. The project uses a connected network of individuals and organizations within the Kansas City region to directly match a family impacted by the pandemic by giving them $1k for 3 months to assist with rental or mortgage costs.
Funds will be paid directly to landlords and mortgage companies on the families behalf.
